Amad Diallo scored a 121st-minute winner for Manchester United to complete an astonishing 4-3 win over Liverpool in a thrilling Premier League clash at Anfield.

The substitute, who had only been on the pitch for six minutes, fired home from close range after a cross from Marcus Rashford to secure United's first win of the season.

Liverpool had fought back from 2-0 down to lead 3-2, but they were ultimately denied by a spirited United side who refused to give up.

Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford had given United a 2-0 lead in the first half, but Liverpool hit back through a Cody Gakpo brace and a Mohamed Salah penalty.

Liverpool looked to have done enough to secure a point, but Diallo's late goal snatched all three points for United.

The win lifts United up to 14th in the Premier League table, while Liverpool remain ninth.
